She was originally born in San Diego, where she took her first Computer Science class in middle school and fell in love with the field of technology. However, seeing a lack of diversity within her STEM courses throughout the years has propelled her mission to increase representation in the engineering field. Long term, however, she plans to start her own company that focuses on employing women of color and marginalized communities to develop products that help in-need communities domestically and internationally. In her free time, she loves reading, listening to music, having photoshoots with friends, and spending time with family. She especially thanks her family, best friends, and mentor Shay Turner for supporting her dreams, aspirations, and ambitions!
